Sweet and fruity
Nutella is so yesterday. Now, it’s all about homemade hazelnut cream.
Take: Lindt dark chocolate, honey and cream and melt on very low heat. In the meantime, grate Piedmont hazelnuts until you have a creamy mixture. Mix the cream with the chocolate. In which proportion? Just try. Fill into jars and sprinkle with hazelnuts.
We ourselves or our friend, Erich Stekovics, make the jams. We get fully ripe apricots from the Kittsee indulging area and immediately process them. The taste is incomparable and apparently even better than from the Wachau valley.
The Leithaberg region with its special cherries is another indulging area. To stone cherries is a lot of work, but the jam is extraordinarily delicious.
The ‘Mieze Schindler’ strawberry is very delicate and cannot be transported when fully ripe. Therefore, Erich Stekovics himself processes these special, extraordinarily aromatic, dark strawberries.

Brioche and Bread
Our brioche is homemade in our ‘Genuss.Reich’ kitchen and is still warm when served.
Some guests simply cannot be stopped. Their statement: unbeatable, the best brioche ever.
We have an extensive bread selection. Rye bread, Essener wholemeal bread, pumpkin seed bread, quinoa bread and rice bread.
We receive our bread from the Waldherr from Kleinhöflein Burgenland Wholemeal Bakery. We also have products for people with food intolerances and allergies. The bread offered is free from wheat, yeast, lactose-free and made with sourdough.
The ‘Körberl’ basket is filled with various, special baked goods. The baker, Waldherr, from Kleinhöflein bakes hand rolls, pretzel sticks, ciabiatta bread with marigold, small Martins loaves with sunflowers and Wachau breadrolls especially for us. All of our bread is wholesome and comes in small sizes so you can try many different sorts.
Hot and cold
The self-service drinks bar includes:
- Naturally cloudy apple juice
- NFC orange juice (not from concentrate)
- Grander Water
- Fresh herbs: peppermint, lemon balm, sage
- Oat milk
- Lactose-free milk
Tea & Coffee
The tea preparation is a ceremony. You will find glasses with prepared loose leaves. Choose a glass according to the scent you like and we will prepare your tea. The hourglass shows how long the tea has been left to steep. The tea stays perfectly warm for a long time in the heavy tea pot.
Each cup of coffee is freshly prepared. Nespresso, what else. Choose. Espresso, cappuccino, café latte, etc. We will fulfil all of your wishes and as often as you like.
The cheeses are of selected quality. We receive our products from small cheese dairies which still produce raw milk cheese and only deliver it to us when it is perfectly ripe. We leave the cheese in the room for at least one hour before adding it to the buffet. Only then it truly develops its perfect taste.
The Hautzinger sheep farm supplies us with cheese and milk products. A green tomato jam goes perfectly with the completely natural cheese. If it already has dried tomatoes and basil, chilli salt is enough. The taste of the smoked cheese is intensified through curing salt. Ash-coated camembert and cheese round off our offer.
From our garden
The herbs and blossoms in our garden are used for spreads, pesto, teas, etc.
- Chive bread with crispy sea salt
- Fried sage leaves in wine dough
- Pickled lily buds
- Mini tomatoes and raw vegetables in herbal oil
- Boiled eggs with marigold salt
- Topinambour crisps
Perfectly sliced, ripe, creamy avocados with Taggiasca olives. The small, pitted olives from the region of Liguria. Fully ripe, dark, mild and elegant in taste.
Ham and cold cuts
We took special care in choosing our selection of ham and cold cuts.
All varieties are from the region
- Mangalitza backbacon, sliced extremely thin.
- Mangalitza bone-in ham, very juicy and sliced slightly thicker.
- Steppe cattle beef ham from Pamhagen, wonderfully juicy.
- Turkey Leberkäse (turkey loaf) for guests who do not want to eat pork.
- Each product is something special.
Eggs and salt
The eggs are provided by our neighbour’s happy chicken. For frying we use ghee butterfat which, according to the Ayurvedic cuisine, has great healing properties.
